Hearing of Holey Artisan case adjourned till Oct 21

An anti-terror special court on Thursday adjourned till Oct 21 the hearing of a case, lodged under the anti-terror act over the grisly militant attack at the capital's Holey Artisan Bakery in 2016, reports BSS. Judge Md Mujibur Rahman of Dhaka Anti-terrorism Special Tribunal set the date after examining investigation officer (IO) and inspector of counter terrorism Humayan Kabir. The witness was later cross examined by the defence. 114 out of total 211 witnesses have so far testified in the case. Militants killed 20 innocent people, most of them foreigners, in the attack carried out on July 1, 2016.
