Novo Nordisk plants 1,000 trees

Employees at Novo Nordisk Bangladesh planted 1,000 trees at Sir John Wilson School in the capital as part of its new environment strategy dubbed "Circular for Zero", reports BSS. As part of the "TakeAction" activity, employees of the company voluntarily joined in this initiative of planting the trees, said a press release. The plantation activity was inaugurated by Sebnem Avsar Tuna, Corporate Vice President, Business Area Oceania South East Asia, Novo Nordisk and Sabrina Shaheed, Principle of Sir John Wilson School. More than 100 students of the school and Anand Shetty, Vice President and General Manager of Novo Nordisk were also present in the inauguration. Sebnem shared her views with students on how to protect the environment and Novo Nordisk's pledge for the environment by adopting eco-friendly processes for a better tomorrow.
