Communal harmony prevails under PM's leadership: Sadhan

NAOGAON, Sept 14: Food Minister Sadhan Chandra Majumder Saturday said Bangladesh has introduced itself as the country of communal harmony across the globe because of the strong leadership and non-communal spirit of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, reports BSS. "Bangladesh has gained reputation as a country of communal harmony in the world because of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's strong leadership and non-communal spirit. Everyone, irrespective of caste, creed and religion participates and enjoys every festival in this country," he told a rally as the chief guest. The rally was organized marking inauguration of the construction work of Model Mosque at Niamatpur Upazila Sadar of the district with Niamatpur Upazila Executive Officer Joya Maria Perera in the chair. Perasha Jamia Arabia Madrasa Director Alhaj Sharifuddin Shah Chowdhury, Upazila Chairman Farid Uddin and Upazila Awami League president Enamul Haque also spoke. Sadhan Chandra Majumder said a number of roads, bridge, culverts, schools, colleges, madrasas, mosques and temples have been rebuilt during tenure of the present government. Later, the food minister visited Niamatpur Upazila Health Complex and handed over a car to the hospital. The food minister also distributed education materials and saplings of trees to different educational institutions on the upazila parishad premises.
