Razib named as chess WC coach

The Bangladesh Chess Federation has declared to name Grandmaster Enamul Hossain Razib to replace its former coach Igor Rausis, who was earlier accused by World Chess Federation (Fide) of cheating. Razib will coach chess prodigy Mohammad Fahad Rahman, ahead of the World Cup this September. The deal however, has not been finalized yet as Shamim added that the contract with Razib, detailing the salary and other issues, will be drawn up during a meeting Tuesday. Razib, who became the country's fifth and last GM in 2008, has been coaching Elegant Chess Academy since 2017. He was also involved as the chess federation coach for three months last year before Rausis' arrival.
