GDP growth rate now is 7.65 per cent. With so much success, we cannot let some of our brothers and sisters to live neglected," he said. The minister said these while talking to transgender community leaders at his government residence. The transgender leaders drew Menon's attention towards different problems they are facing in everyday life like succession act, obstacles in holding funerals for their dead ones and admitting children in public schools.
