TraumaLink expands its operation

TraumaLink, a voluntary based system, provides free emergency first aid service to the highway injured people of Bangladesh. The organisation has expanded its operation in Comilla from 35 km to another 15 km starting from Barogovindpur to Kotbari Bishsaw Road of Dhaka-Chittagong highway under Chandina upazila, says a press release. An inaugural ceremony of this event was held by TraumaLink supported by Suzuki Rancon Motorbikes at a hotel in Burichang upazila on Wednesday. The chief guest of the even was Poritosh Ghosh, Additional DIG, Highway Police, Comilla Region, Comilla. The special guests were Md. Moniruzzaman Talukdar, Additional District Commissioner (Sarbik), Comilla, Dr. Kamal Uddin Ahmed, Deputy Civil Surgeon and Md. Yahya, Assistant Director, Fire Service and Civil Defense, Comilla. The event kicked off with a welcome speech from Bidhan Chandra Pal, TraumaLink’s Vice President of Operations. Esha Chowdhury, TraumaLink’s Director of Operations, and Suzuki Rancon Motorbikes Representative Ibrahim Khalil also spoke on the occasion.
