Kamal Naser for ensuring quality education for students

COMILLA, Dec 23: Prime Minister’s Principal Secretary Dr Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury on Saturday urged the teachers and guardians to make more efforts for ensuring proper education for the students, reports BSS. “Students should be devoted more to their studies. Otherwise, we can’t sustain the development of the country,” he told a view-exchange meeting with teachers and guardians of the Bijoy Kara School and College at Chauddogram upazila in the district. He also called upon the teachers to maintain a database in their respective educational institutions to monitor the activities of the students to refrain them from mixing with bad companions. “Teachers and guardians should remain alert to keep their children away from misusing modern information technology, including social media,” he added. Additional Secretary of Education Ministry Abdullah Al Hasan Chowdhury, Bangladesh Open University Vice Chancellor Professor Dr MA Mannan and Deputy Commission of Comilla Md Jahangir Alam were present on the occasion, among others. Earlier, the principal secretary visited the Chauddagram Diabetic Hospital and land for establishing Betiara Muktijoddha Complex. Principal of the Holy Family Red Crescent Medical College Hospital Major General (retd) Professor Dr HR Rashid was also present.
