Sabirul Islam motivates students at DIS

Sabirul Islam, a Bangladeshi origin British entrepreneur and world renowned motivational speaker, spoke at a motivational session at Daffodil International School (DIS) recently.
Md. Sabur Khan, president of Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) and chairman of DIS, was present at the event as the chief guest, says a press release.
Sahana Khan, principal of DIS, presided over the session and the programme was conducted by Rahima K. Mirza, vice-principal. He said, “Having connections with the right people in your network is the key to success, self-value is also very important to become successful”.
He said, “Money was not all too difficult to make in modern day society. The real challenge was to be able to make a difference”
Sabirul said he came to Bangladesh to encourage young people to believe in living a life with purpose, meaning and valuing legacy.
“I plan to introduce my board game in the schools of Bangladesh, which are already used by more than 600 schools in the UK and other countries too”.
At the age of 23, the young entrepreneur has spoken at more than 750 events worldwide and written several books about youth entreprene-urship.
His best selling book titled “The world at your feet” and innovative board game, aimed to educate kids on financial literacy, is now popular in many countries across the world.
Later, he delivered a demonstration on his most popular board game ‘Teen- Trepreneur’.
