Inu urges children to hate communal forces

Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu on Friday today called upon children to hate communal forces and razakars, reports BSS.
"The forces inimical to progress are great enemies of children. They are against educating girls beyond class four," he said speaking as chief guest at the premier show of three films made during a workshop on production of child films and programmes.
Twenty-one children aged between six and 12 years, took part in the workshop. Women and Children Affairs Secretary Tarique-ul- Islam addressed the function as special guest at Abdul Karim Shahityabisharad auditorium of Bangla Academy in the city. Shishu Academy Chairman Sheikh Abdul Ahad was in the chair.
The information minister said the communal forces had killed children indiscriminately during the liberation war. He said, "And for that all of us have to hate these enemies of the nation."
He urged the political parties not to use children as human shield and take them in meetings and processions. "It's a heinous crime", he said
Drawing the attention of the organisations including Shishu Academy which are working for the children, the information minister said not only the children of the rich, education and right to live of the street children, underprivileged, disabled and children at madrasas and brothels should be ensured. He said the present government will extend all possible help, if needed.
The minister said the grand alliance government has enacted 'Shishu Surakkha Ain 2013 to ensure rights of children.
