New PSO of Armed Forces Division adorned with rank

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Monday adorned newly-appointed Principal Staff Officer (PSO) of the Armed Forces Division Abu Belal Mohammad Shafiul Haque, ndc, psc with the rank badge of lieutenant general, reports BSS.
The Prime Minister adorned Shafiul Haque with the rank badge of lieutenant general at a simple ceremony at her official Ganobhaban residence here this morning, PM's Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad told BSS.
PM's Defence Adviser Maj Gen (retd) Tarique Ahmed Siddique, Military Secretary Major General Mia Mohammad Joynul Abedin, Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad and Special Assistant Dr Abdus Sobhan Golap were present on the occasion, among others.
Shafiul Haque replaced Lt Gen Abdul Wadud, official sources said.
