Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Sunday ordered the authorities concerned to strengthen their efforts to keep the four rivers surrounding the capital free from pollution, reports UNB. "These four rivers will die if those are not freed from wastes and pollution," she said while speaking at the 4th meeting of the National Committee on Environment held at the Prime Minister's Office on Sunday. PM's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim briefed reporters after the meeting.
