BBRCS chairman gets doctorate degree

In recognition of outstanding contribution to humanitarian services in Bangladesh, Hafiz Ahmed Mazumder, the chairman of Bangladesh Red Crescent Society, is going to receive an honorary doctorate (PhD) degree from the Hanse University, South Korea on February 23, says a press release. Hum ki Sun, president of the Hense University will confer the honor degree upon Mazumder at the graduation ceremony to be organized by the Hense University. Hafiz Ahmed Mazumdar is a versatile genius and is well known for his outstanding leadership and amiable personality. He has been elected for two times on 1996 and 2009 as Member of Parliament (MP) from Zakiganj-Kanaighat constituency area. For his outstanding service in social welfare and humanitarian sector, on 2009 he was selected as the vice chairman of ad-hoc managing board of Red Crescent. Later he was elected as vice chairman of the managing board of Bangladesh Red Crescent Society. Since 2015 he has been serving the national society as Chairman.
